How Do HTB Meetups Work

Our mission is to create a safer cyber world by making cybersecurity training fun and accessible
to everyone. Hack The Box Meetups help us achieve this mission by connecting the community
and spreading the HTB word across the globe. Become a host and join our mission!

Meetup Flow

The hosts go through an HTB
Machine, attendees follow the
steps.

Meetup Duration

Depends on the group but usually
meetups last about 4-6 hours.

Meetup Labs

The hosts have prior access
to the labs to get prepared.

Meetup Training

The group has access to all training
material during the event.

Meetup Cost

Attending and hosting an event
is - and always - will be free.

Meetup Location

Meetups are held either
on-site or virtually.

Hosting Duties

Organizing a powerful and valuable meetup is not an easy task, that’s why we need your
help. Here are your duties but don’t forget that HTB will be there to support you along
the entire way.

Find A Topic

Find meetup topics that are relevant and
valuable for your group.

Connect

You will handle the meetup group created by us
to post events and notify attendees.

Find A Venue
On-Site Meetups

For on-site meetups, you’ll need to find the
appropriate place to host it.

Find An Online Room
Online Meetups

Choose a platform (Discord, Hangouts, etc.). We
will help out with the setup.

Invite Friends

Post it on social media, inform friends and
colleagues, spread the word.

Host The Event

Shells, camera, action! For anything you might need, our
Community Team will be there.
