Attended by over 30,000 individuals annually, DEF CON hosts various workshops, activities, and contests. So, could we leave the opportunity to have so much fun with our community? 

Operation Cybershock

We hope you are ready for the Hacking Party! On August 10th, during day one of DEF CON, we will host an exclusive Capture The Flag (CTF) event, with music and fun for everyone on-site. 

“What happens when HeavenWeb, an advanced AI model, decides to eradicate humanity? Every action movie lately seems to have a different answer. Still, in this specific case, a team of elite hackers and cybersecurity experts organize a global Capture the Flag (CTF) competition to challenge the AI model’s dominance.”

Operation Cybershock brings together the brightest minds to compete on a virtual battlefield against an intricate network of defenses. Will this mission succeed?

The CTF will measure the skills of all participants against unshared FullPwn Machines and multiple Challenges from various categories, including Web, Crypto, Reversing, Pwn, and Forensics. Catch all the 10+ flags and get awesome celebratory swag, food, and drinks with us!

And it’s not over. For the rest of the duration of DEF CON, from August 11th until August 13th, you can find us at the Exhibitors Hall. Pass by our booth, and you will have the chance to receive an early bird discount on our upcoming HTB Academy
